Lexicon Film Productions is an innovative media company dedicated to delivering stories with challenging themes to the wider society. Our recent feature film I Was A Soldier was released worldwide in April 2024. In May 2023 Lexicon partnered with Square Elephant Productions for our upcoming TV series; FLAME.

It’s been just over a month since our award-winning feature film ‘I Was A Soldier’ was released worldwide. The feedback, support, and love we’ve received have been truly overwhelming. Author Frank Nappi & Director Myles Petford recently met in New York to discuss the ongoing preproduction plans for our next feature film, Game of Love 🎬🌎

Due to the SAG-AFTRA strikes, the release of ‘I Was A Soldier’ will be delayed. The film is set to be distributed by Amazon Prime and so it is a decision beyond our control. As WAG are only just negotiating a conclusion to the strikes we have yet to be given a new release date, but we are hoping to have one soon. The strikes will not just affect us, but thousands of other unreleased films across the globe. We stand in solidarity with WAG & SAG-AFTRA, and are looking forward to an agreement being reached.

It’s with great sadness that we’ve learnt of the passing of Dave Reynolds. Dave was a phenomenal human being that shared so much love and happiness with everyone he came in contact with. Without Dave, Falkland Square wouldn’t have been possible. We’re sending our love to Dave’s family and friends during this difficult time.

We’ve been waiting to say these words for nearly 3 years, Falkland Square is complete. A cast & crew cinema screening will be taking place at the end of May. And that’s a wrap for our Kickstarter! Unfortunately we didn’t hit our end goal, but with that being said we can’t thank everyone enough for all the interest, shares, and donations that had been made. The money raised was going towards marketing, festival submissions and the final polish. Production will still be going ahead next March/ April, with a delayed release in 2020. We'd like to congratulate our director Myles Petford for holding a successful assembly at his former secondary school in Bridgnorth and for securing a premiere at the local Majestic cinema. He spoke about our film Cole and discussed it's key themes, mental health and sexual assault. He went on to discuss the upcoming GCSE and A-levels.
