I Was A Soldier (under the name Falkland Square) was on the 2022 / 23 festival circuit and was officially selected at several renowned festivals. Some of the festival selection included; Birmingham FF, Manchester FF, Milton Keynes IFF, Vancouver IFF & Liverpool IA.
In March 2023 Lexicon Film Productions partnered with American distributor Random Media. I Was A Soldier was released worldwide in April 2024. Available now on Amazon, Google Play & Apple TV.
Filming took place between September - October 2019 with a 6 week shoot. Due Covid-19 post production was delayed up to nearly a year. The film had its London & Cheltenham cinema premiere in May 2022.
